STEM / Coding & Technology

AIFS inspires the next generation of innovators by teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and coding to youth ages 6–18. Through hands-on projects, students gain digital skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while preparing for a tech-driven future.

 

Mentorship Program

Youth are paired with caring mentors who guide them through academic, social, and personal growth, helping to build leadership and life skills.

 

Tutoring & Academic Support

 Personalized academic support in core subjects such as reading, writing, and math. Small group sessions close learning gaps, build confidence, and help students achieve success in school.

Communication & Digital Media Center

 Equipping youth with 21st-century skills in video production, photography, graphic design, and media literacy, empowering them to share their voices and pursue creative careers.

Early Childhood Development

 A nurturing, culturally responsive environment for preschool-age children (3-5 years) to explore early learning, social-emotional growth, and cultural identity in a safe, supportive space.

French & Spanish Language Education

 Students ages 6–18 learn French and Spanish in a culturally rich environment. Our classes help youth build strong language skills, boost confidence, and develop intercultural understanding to thrive in a multilingual world.

Youth African Drumming Program

 Celebrating culture through music, this program teaches youth the art of African drumming, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and performance at community events.

Hair Braiding Program

Youth learn traditional hair braiding techniques that honor African heritage while exploring creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural pride.

Youth African Culinary program

 Hands-on culinary training where youth discover cooking techniques, nutrition, and entrepreneurship through the art of African cuisine in partnership with House of Bah Foundation.

Sports Program (Karate, Basketball, Soccer)

 Athletics build teamwork, discipline, resilience, and healthy living while keeping youth active and engaged through karate, basketball, and soccer.

AIFS CYBER POLICE ACADEMY

The AIFS Cyber Police Academy is a youth-focused digital safety program that empowers participants to navigate the online world with confidence and responsibility. Through hands-on learning, youth develop skills to prevent cyberbullying, recognize scams, protect their digital identities, and support their families in staying safe online.

AIFS Little Scholars Program

The AIFS Little Scholars Program provides a nurturing, culturally responsive early-learning environment for preschoolers and kindergartners. Through hands-on activities, language development, creativity, and social-emotional learning, our Little Scholars build strong foundations for academic success and lifelong confidence.
